“If we can get anyone to become active in all facets of their life we can turn around their health and outlook on life” ~ Gordon Keiser

Born on May 3, 1939 in St Paul, Minnesota. He as a young man he joined the Navy and was educated as an electronics technician and was stationed in Jacksonville, Florida for most of his four year military career. He later moved to Boise, Idaho with his family where he attended Boise State University in Boise, Idaho and received a degree in Accounting and a minor in Public Relations.
After working in a number of accounting jobs, he started his own business as an Internet Service Provider (ISP) in the early days before most people understood what the internet was let alone how to use it. He operated the business for over 10 years before selling the business to a larger ISP. He retired and spent the next few years working at part time jobs to supplement his social security.
One day, when Gordon was at his doctor’s office, his doctor said: “Mr. Keiser, you are at the end of your pharmaceutical rope, I have nothing any stronger for you that does not have massive side effects and beside all the medicine you are now taking is not working. You are going to have to DO something. Mr. Keiser than changed his career to Health Researcher to find out what was really causing him and millions of others downward spiral despite the best efforts of doctors, health care professional and big pharm..
He found out that what was causing our health problems were not what we were being told. He then found that there where “control points” that could help us manage our health. He then discover that there were certain actions, thoughts, beliefs and activities that could turn around a life time of neglect. The result was that applying those life style changes to his own body resulted in Mr. Keiser losing 40 pounds, 10 inches around his belly and his doctor taking him off of almost all medicines.
He went on to put his finding on paper and wrote the book: The Silly Things That Make Us Sick, Fat and Old. Now available on Amazon.com as a hard copy and on Kindle as an E-Book.
After spending months with a Walking Group, and telling them “It is not just walking” and them asking “what else is there” he set out to write the: “AIM Program Workbook”. The book gives people the structure to record their general health indicators, a card filled with affirmation, a place to write down their goals, a place to journalize their daily gratitude, and a structure for their walking groups. He also put together a kit of: the two books, pedometer, measuring tape, and a Meditation DVDs to further enhance the program.
Offered to the local senior centers he found the program readily accepted and watched as people began to improve their health measured by: reduced blood pressure, lowered heart rate, better balance, less joint pain and reduced acid reflux. Many boomers are bring their parents to the class only to find that the program is just as much for them and they get started with their parents.
“It is gratifying to see people arrive at our six week’s class with the use of a walker and by the end of the program walking without even a cane.”
Mr, Keiser now offers the AIM Program to senior centers, apartment complexes, and other venues. He also speaks before non-profits, clubs, cities, counties, and state agencies interested in helping their members/clients in improving their health.
