Tradition Continues… Mike’s Auto Body’s Veterans Day Benevolence Presentation…
In Honor of Veterans Day, we are presenting a car to a deserving military family on Friday, November 9th, at our Fairfield location.
We are excited to partner with GEICO Insurance, Travis AFB Airman & Family Readiness Center, Recycled Rides, and Operation Care and Comfort Organization. High ranking Travis AFB military officers, Mayor Harry Price, Assemblyman Frazier’s Veterans Ambassador Michael L. Brimer, SGM, USAR, RET, Napa Post 113 American Legion Color Guard and Vanden High School Band will be attending this year.
The Benevolence Program is a community relations program whose mission is to present refurbished “new” used cars to deserving individuals or organizations. Everything is donated, the cars, parts, paint, mechanical inspections, tires and 1 year of insurance. The body and paint technicians donate their time and talents .
Then, partnering with multiple charities, and opening it up on our website for applications, we pick a family that having a reliable car would make a big difference. We fill the car with presents for the kids, we invite our employees to celebrate with us, and give the car away. We do this every year in Fairfield, and with Travis Air Force Base as part of that community, celebrate the heroes who have served our country, work with the base to find the right candidate, and celebrate Veterans Day by giving the vehicle to a military family.

Mike’s Auto Body has been participating in the Benevolence Program for the last 17 years around the Bay Area and has donated 72 cars to the community. This year marks our 18th year and after presenting cars in four presentations starting in October, November, December and ending on January 9th, we will have presented 80 cars to deserving families.
