Nothing Gold can Stay ~Robert Frost
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leafs a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
The skateboard community lost one of its biggest champions last Thursday, September 29th when Tony Evjenth passed away from a heart attack. He was 38. Tony was the conduit, the friend and the backbone of many up-and-coming and professional skaters alike. From his years of growing up as a skater within the Santa Rosa skate scene to his monumental Team Management responsibilities with the éS squad and Matix family, to his unwavering love for skateboarding and its freedoms, Tony was an ace amongst humans. He leaves behind his girlfriend and their unborn son Maverick who is soon to arrive in December.
The Anthony Evjenth Memorial Fund has been set up thru Wells Fargo Bank in his honor. Deposits can be made into the fund from any Wells Fargo location. Our hearts go out to his familiy and friends worldwide. He is greatly missed. Rest in Peace Tony.
