Bounty Books and the Frankel's

Mitch and Darlene Frankel are the proprietors of Bounty Books in Vacaville, CA.. Their book store is the only family owned local book store in the city of Vacaville. Their small store carries all the books that are available on Amazon, and if  the title is not on their shelves, the Bounty Book staff is happy to place the order, saving its customers in shipping costs. Mitch Frankel is active with the Vacaville Optimist Club serving all of Solano County. Whenever the Optimist’s have events, Mitch and Darlene provide a storefront to purchase tickets to benefit the kids.

Bounty Books is a new and used bookstore. With almost ten years experience in the industry, our inventory covers all genres with emphasis on children and young adult reading. All types of books — hardback, paperback, and audio. The store also carries many novelty items such as bookmarks, journals, cards, miniatures, “New Age” odds and ends, and more … Gift cards and certificates are also available!
Our objective at Bounty Books is to maintain a friendly environment. Just as important is providing our customers with information and help for their reading needs. Another goal is to make the store “your” store.
Services include:
Computer & Internet Provided: We will search and order books and/or audio books for you. We also provide author book listings and series for your reading convenience.
Book Clubs: We host an in-house book club and maintain book club lists and books for the community. For more information, go to our ” Book Club Information” link. We offer book club members a 20% discount on their current book club choices.
Students & Teachers: Bounty Books works with schools and libraries in the community. Students are given a 20% discount on books for their current class reading. (Note: This does not apply to text or specialty books.) We assist teachers in building their reading libraries and offer a 20% discount on new books only needed for their classrooms.
Wish List: For those hard to find books, or new books becoming used, we maintain a “Wish List” for our customers.
Mailing: We mail to anywhere in the USA as well as to prisons.
Community Involvement: Bounty Books works and volunteers closely in the community with many organizations and events. As such, trade donations are given back to the community. For more information, go to our “Community Connections” link.
