Sherilyn Henry and Yippie Yogurt

Yippie Yogurt is a non-profit organization that helps youth with hands on training in a real life business environment. Sherilyn Henry started the Yippie Yogurt program in 2008, helping hundreds of youth get the training, skills and experience needed to enter the workforce as young adults. Sherilyn expresses her gratitude to the volunteers and donors who support the program and help so many of the community’s teenagers. The yogurt shop is located at 1955 W. Texas St. #4 in Fairfield, CA.
Yippie Foundation was incorporated as a California 501(c) 3 in August 2010 with the mission to provide job training, mentoring and work experience for underserved youth, ages 16-24. Yippie job training classes began in 2011 and the Yippie Yogurt shop opened in the fall of 2012.
The nonprofit foundation opened the yogurt store at 1955 W. Texas St. in 2012 to serve as a career training program for low-income youth. Since that time, hundreds of local disadvantaged youth benefitted from the opportunity to improve their lives, gain their first work experience and develop transferable job skills.
