The Optimist Club of Solano County plans its 2015 miniature golf tournament Oct. 30 at Scandia Family Fun Center, 4300 Central Place.
Sponsors are needed so children from Aldea Family Services and The Vacaville Neighborhood Boys and Girls Club can participate.
Hours are 4 to 7 p.m. This is the third year for the Halloween tournament.
The Optimist Club of Solano County is one of more than 2.900 clubs worldwide that strive to bring out the best in children through volunteer efforts and fundraising, when necessary. The local club has also raised money for Solano County’s youth who live with cancer and participates in Vacaville’s Festival of the Trees.
