Meet Kristen Paruginog
Kristen Paruginog is the Founder and Executive Director of Break the Silence against Domestic Violence, commonly known as (BTS). Upon embarking on a personal journey of healing and growth, Kristen courageously shared her story of survival on social media in hopes to inspire other victims living in silence to break free. The outpour from men and women was inspiring and sparked the idea to form a non-profit organization to assist individuals in their healing process. Social media created a platform for thousands to openly share their stories to continue the positive ripple effect of breaking the silence.
BTS has been featured on several television and print news outlets to include: Glamour Magazine, ESPN, ABC, NBC, CW, KUSI, FOX, and UT-TV. With the constant growth of the organization, BTS has also been highlighted in The Bulletin in Falmouth Massachusetts, Cape News, Cape Cod Wave, ABC Action News in Tampa Bay, Detroit Free Press, KRIS-TV, and outlets in Atlanta, Georgia.

She also has received the Presidential Lifetime Service Award for accumulating over 6,000 hours of community service.
The global platform Break the Silence against Domestic Violence created – stemmed from one woman speaking out against the harsh realities of domestic violence.
