Barbara Dwyer, founder of The Academy of 21st Century Learning, will discuss the reasons some of our most talented children seemingly stop trying and start falling further and further behind in school. She will examine why some children argue they are stupid and cannot do something you know full-well they can do as well as why some of our most gifted “natural” child athletes suddenly start achieving less than is expected of them and may even stop trying.
