We are one week away from our inaugural event at the Wooden Valley Winery! At the event, wine will be available for purchase and cupcakes are being donated by Su’s Artistic Sweets.
Registration will be from 5:30-6:00pm. The meeting will take place from 6:00-7:00pm. We will have presentations from 3 community projects. Each member will vote on which project they choose to win the overall donation. While the votes are being tallied, our guest speaker will speak for a few minutes. For the 1st meeting, we have the honor of hearing from Krishna Abrams, Solano County District Attorney. Once DA Abrams is done, we will announce the winner of the community project (majority vote wins). We will close with picking the next 3 non-profits to present at our next meeting in January 2016 (date/place TBD).
Some important things to remember:
Bring a blank check or $100 cash. Do not bring credit or debit cards – there is no way to process them. Checks will be made out to the winning non-profit during the meeting.
If you cannot attend, please reply to this email and I will send you necessary information of how to arrange for your contribution. You can always send a proxy in your place as well.
It is NOT too late to sign up!!! Please bring a girlfriend, sister, mother, mentor, or any woman who you think would enjoy this group. We have strength in numbers! If you are on Facebook, please like and share all posts to maximize advertising.

We are also still looking for more non-profits. We have dropped the annual funding budget requirement from $100K to $50K to include more community partners. If you know of any non-profits, please share 100 Women information with them. Our website is: www.100womensolano.org
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to send an email to 100womensolano@gmail.com.
I will get back to you as soon as possible. I have attached the flyer and commitment forms for anyone that would like to share. I look forward to meeting each of you next week!
As individuals it is difficult to make a very large impact, but as a group we can do what we never before thought possible! If 100 women make a donation of just $100 per quarter together, we will make a significant impact in the lives of women, children and families in Solano County.
