Kroc Center Looking for Candy Donations

Kroc Center Looking for Candy Donations
The Salvation Army Kroc Center in Suisun City (586 E Wigeon Way), is looking to collect 1,000 bags of candy for their 4th annual Kroctoberfest on Saturday October 31.
“Kroctoberfest is always a safe and fun alternative to walking the streets on Halloween. As always, our goal is to provide a positive place for children and families where safety and uplifting activities are available to anyone” says Captain Jonathan Harvey, Kroc Center Administrator & Solano County Coordinator.
The Kroc Center started Kroctoberfest in 2010 and the event has grown from roasting marshmallows on an empty lot where the Kroc Center now stands to a night of carnival games, costume and karaoke contests, and of course tons of candy!  With the growth of the event, the need for candy donations has grown as well.
“The Kroc Center has quickly become a gathering place in this community and as such this event has grown exponentially so we are hoping the community will step in and help.” Says Captain Harvey.
For those wanting to attend Kroctoberfest on October 31, the event goes from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and is free admission and open to the public with a suggested donation of one canned good per person to help feed families this holiday season.
