Angel Tree Giving Hope at Christmas
The Salvation Army Angel Tree Looking for Christmas Gifts
The Salvation Army Angel Tree Looking for Christmas Gifts
The Salvation Army is looking for children’s Christmas clothing and gifts as a part of their yearly Angel Tree program. This program provides new clothing or toys for children of needy families through the support of donors. Found at the Solano Town Center mall and other locations, Angel Trees are decorated with numbered paper angel tags with the first name, age and gender of a child in need of presents. Contributors remove one or more tags from the tree and purchase appropriate gifts for the child or children described on the tags.
“Every child deserves to experience the joy of Christmas morning. And thanks to supporters of The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program, hundreds of children in Solano County will find gifts waiting under their Christmas trees.” said Capt. Jonathan Harvey, Solano County Coordinator for The Salvation Army.
Last Christmas, thousands of children benefited from the Angel Tree program. The Salvation Army is aiming to help just as many, if not more this year.
