“Making Riding A Reality for Under Resourced Families”
We at SpiritHorse have the Afterschool Enrichment Solution. Instead of your child watching T.V. or playing video games, they can be motivated through horses. Our program is designed for kids age range 7-12years old. Fun activities with horses are integrated with the objective of teaching safety, responsibility and skill building. This approach gives youth purpose, understanding and incentive to do their best and try new things. Such an approach also helps to build self- esteem and accomplishment as well as learn to interact with others and their horse as a team and with practiced social skills.
Your child will have lots of fun while learning horsemanship and horseback riding. Try something new this year.
ABOUT SPIRITHORSE RIDING CENTER
SpiritHorse Riding Center of the San Francisco Bay Area is a 501(c)3 non-profit and was founded in January of 2012 by Charlotte Dougherty. This program is open to riders of all abilities. Our lessons are designed to improve the lives of children and adults who are facing developmental, emotional, social, and physical challenges. We are proud to be a licensed SpiritHorse International Center that strives to provide opportunities that help our community members build self confidence and feel empowered
