Dreaming of a nearby green space where Fluffy and Rover can happily roam?
Vacaville leaders want to hear from the public.
A dog park town hall is set for 9:30 a.m. Saturday at McBride Senior Center, 91 Town Square Place.
Come learn about the 1.3 acres — and $50,000 — that have been set aside in Centennial Park for a dog park.
Plans call for two sections — one for big dogs, one for smaller ones. Wood chips will soften the dirt padding, making it safer and more comfortable for the dogs using the space. Estimated cost is $95,000.
