Vanessa Adams and Nessa's Bags

Vanessa was one of our first speakers for the Little Wing Connections luncheon. She was with SafeQuest at the time advocating for battered women. Since then, he has launched Nessa’s  Bags, occasionally having them available at the luncheons. Vanessa’s strength and advocacy towards the betterment of unhealthy situations is applauded throughout our group.

Started in 1975 SafeQuest Solano, formerly known as Solano Women’s Crisis Center, is a dual Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Agency that serves all of Solano County (Benicia, Dixon, Fairfield, Rio Vista, Suisun, Vacaville, & Vallejo).
We provide a 24-hour Crisis Line, a State-certified emergency shelter for survivors and their children, Safety Planning, Case Management, Individual Peer Counseling, Support Groups, Victim Advocacy, Restraining Order Assistance, Legal and Medical accompaniments, Batterers Intervention Program, Community Outreach and Education, Children’s Active Arts, and Volunteer Training for Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Peer Counseling. All victim services are free of charge, confidential, and offered in English, Tagalog, and Spanish.
We are a member of the 24/7 Solano County Sexual Assault Response Team (SART). We are the Rape Crisis Center designated by the State of California for Solano County.
