Chris Donhost

Chris Donhost is a second generation funeral professional with over 16 years of experience in the profession. He is a Mortuary college graduate, who has served in various roles including California licensed funeral director, embalmer, cemetery manager, crematory manager, and life insurance agent specific to pre-need funeral arrangements.
Recently, Donhost served for 5 years as a multi-location manager of three funeral homes, a cemetery and crematory in Solano County. In July of 2013, he was appointed as funeral home and coroner liaison with Sierra Donor Services in Sacramento, where he works to establish and maintain positive relationships between funeral homes and coroners in their 11-county service area. Through communication and professional education programs, Donhost ensures funeral homes and coroners have mutual support and recognition of the roles each party plays in the tissue and organ donation processes. He also works with professionals from the Funeral Home Industry and County Corner offices to optimize success of the process, and ensure that the final wishes of the donor and donor families are faithfully carried out.
Chris lives in Vacaville with his wife, Evelyn, and their 6-year old identical twin boys. They are members of Crossroads Christian Church, and Chris is also a board member with Vacaville Rotary Club.
