Have you ever wondered how successful business professionals seem to get so much more done in a day?
How to be less busy and get more done…Why are some people’s time worth more than others? Do those people have more than 24 hours in a day? We all are given the same 24 hours in a day, some people just know how to leverage their time better. That ability is not a gift but a skill that can be learned and applied by anyone. The key is to apply what you know. I believe knowing something and doing based on what you know is what separates ordinary from EXTRAordinary. Is this the world’s best kept secret? It must be since so many sales professionals and entrepreneurs out there are struggling in their level of performance and their bottom line in their business, because they can’t seem to get past their current level of performance.
How has it been working for you so far?
Are you ready to be less busy and get more done?
Are you tired of having the same results as you did last year in your business?
Here’s how you could start focusing on your priorities as soon as you finish this article:
1) List 6 things that are important for you to get done tomorrow. I don’t mean things like, “getting dressed,” “taking the kids to school” type of tasks. I mean things that you must do to move your life and or your business forward.
2) Rank them in the order of importance.
3) Review them this evening.
4) Look at your list. Start with the number one priority on your list. Here’s the secret…ready? Do not move on to item 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 until you get the number 1 completed.
We have a tendency to do things that are easy but not necessarily the most important first. The character trait of those who achieve more in their days is they accomplish the most important task first, then the following tasks become easier.
Try this out for 3 days, let me know if you notice any difference in your results. Post your comment or question below. I’d love to hear from you.
To your success!
