The Salvation Army Provides Support for Evacuees of Wragg Fire

The Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services (EDS) are deployed and will be supporting evacuees of the Wragg Fire. The Salvation Army’s mobile assistance vehicle will be located at the Ulatis Center (1000 Ulatis Dr, Vacaville, CA 95867) from 6:00 p.m. until services are no longer required.
When the Wragg Fire first broke out The Salvation Army EDS Team was on the scene within hours providing emergency meals for hundreds of people. Since then, The Salvation Army EDS has supported the Solano Office of Emergency Services and Cal Fire providing assistance as requested. Assistance has included food, supplies, and auxiliary personnel with road closures. This afternoon The Salvation Army called for support in providing services to evacuees as new evacuation orders took effect.
“The Salvation Army is committed as always to supporting those in need at a moment’s notice. We will continue to provide support while a need exist.” said Captain Jonathan Harvey, Kroc Center Administrator & Solano County Coordinator.
