SALVATION ARMY SOLANO COUNTY TO HOST BACK-TO-SCHOOL SHOPPING SPREE FOR 100 STUDENTS
WHAT: The Salvation Army of Solano County will take 100 students, from kindergarten to sixth grade, to a back-to-school shopping spree. Each child will have $150 to shop for clothes and shoes, and Target will provide a 10% discount for all purchases. The Salvation Army will also supply all of the students with backpacks filled with school supplies.
Funding for the back-to-school event and other youth focused programming summer was raised through various donations, including support from Salvation Army partners WestAmerica Bank, Ford Fairfield, Kaiser Permanente, Hodson & Mullin Attorneys at Law, Jelly Belly and many others.

More than 50 volunteers will chaperone the students during the shopping.
