Welcome to the Back-to-School Brigade!
Operation Homefront is honored to be able to provide school supplies to our military families and help in any way that we can. To register for school supplies, click the “Register Now” link. Supplies are limited and are on a first come, first served registration process. Please note that this event is for DEERS enrolled military dependent children only who will be in Kindergarten through 12th grade for the 2015-2016 school year. Identification of all children registered will be required the day of the event.
ABOUT THE BACK-TO-SCHOOL BRIGADE
Operation Homefront begins our annual Back-to-School Brigade™, a nationwide school supply collection campaign. Dollar Tree will continue their role as our presenting sponsor for the seventh year by setting out collection barrels July 6 through August 13 at over 5,000 Dollar Tree and Deals stores.
Dollar Tree patrons donated more than $5 million of school supplies last year, and we anticipate enthusiastic support again this year.
GET INVOLVED AS A SUPPORTER
- Set up a Collection Bin at your office, store, church or school –we’ll provide the signage! Just contact your local field office.
- Collect supplies & gift cards at your company or donate from our Amazon list!
Help us distribute supplies in your area. Contact your local field office to find out more. - Become a Pick-Up Volunteer and help pick up donated toys from a local location
(volunteer sign-up opens in early June) - Make a tax-deductible donation to Operation Homefront whiich will go to help military families through our Back-to-School Brigade™ and other programs
