Toy Donations need for Angel Tree Program

December is half way through, and the holidays are in full swing. The Salvation Army Looking For Toy DonationsThe next time people go holiday shopping, The Salvation Army hopes they will make a donation to its Angel Tree program.
“The Angel Tree is a wonderful way for people to help a child by shopping personally for them.” says Captain Jonathan Harvey, Solano County Coordinator for The Salvation Army.
Thanks to donations, The Salvation Army Angel Tree program is able to make Christmas happen for thousands of kids in need, from newborns to 13 years old. People can find a tree at Solano Town Center, pick an angel, and go shopping for a child. A number of stores and restaurants throughout Solano county also have trees.
” It will have the first name, the gender and what they are asking for. You can take it off the tree, go shopping for them, and drop it off at the location on the tag.” said Harvey.
All gifts should be unwrapped and returned by December 18.
