I’ve been working since I was 14 years old and I truly don’t know what it’s like not to have a place of employment. Does this matter? For me, it really does. It’s a testament to my career path and how I worked to get to where I am today. There were two traits I went into every job with, hard work and exceptional customer service. Let’s face it, if people don’t feel your empathy towards their issues, why should they come back? It was my job to make customers happy and put a smile on their face on days they may not have wanted to smile.
I’ve always taken pride in knowing clients specifically requested for my service, which is why I believe customer service is an attitude, not a department. Whether I’m consulting a business owner on how to be more efficient or fixing an IT problem they don’t understand, it’s about taking their pains away and adding value to their daily work. If I can’t fix their problem, I use the resources I have to do so.
After 16 years, I retired early from UPS to pursue a career more aligned with my passion for helping business owners, which is why nDataStor has been the perfect fit. By default, I’m a technology nut. Whether it was helping friends with their iPhones, or fixing computers, technology has always been a heavy interest. I graduated high school with a DOS certification. Today, I work extensively with IT and account management. My responsibilities include managing hardware and software solutions with enterprise clients, as well as installing applications and other business solutions with small businesses. In my role I’ve been able to offer premium products and services without compromising customer service, or treating it like a separate feature.
Today’s society is full of innovative technology. Businesses flourish with the solutions I’m able to offer, but I always take it a step further to ensure these solutions are properly processed, implemented, and supported. I love sports, and as a full service IT company I work to quarterback all of our customers needs.
I’m no Joe Montana, but I know how to move a company in the right direction.
