This month is full of great events, besides Christopher turning nine, yes can you believe I said nine? I am learning from him with every new day, my humility is improved upon with every new apology for loosing my temper and breaking my daily promise to not yell with the agreement for him to listen with the best of his ability. Believe me, he calls me on my slip ups….
Allyson Ray and her Peace Jam associates are putting together a Health around the World Expo at the Matt Garcia Youth Center in Fairfield on April 1st from 4pm to 7pm. What draws me to this wonderful determined young lady is that she is still in High School. Her passion to make a difference at such a young age inspires me to continue improving on my community service and accountability. Thank you Allison for for being one of my mentors!
On the 29th, my Optimist chapter is having it’s 2nd Annual Wine and Cheese Gala at David Roth’s Mission on the Hill in Vacaville. I am proud of this event because 100% of all the efforts go to The Vacaville Optimists Chapter serving all of Solano County Childrens Cancer Fund. Cynthia Sutko will be presenting an excellent presentation of Wine and Cheese pairing and Mary Watkins RhythmIn Blue’s Kids will be performing in the background setting the perfect Ambience for the evening. Check out our Facebook event page and get ahold of me to get your tickets. Vacaville Optimist Facebook page
